Hometown News For Orange County, Texas
Aline “Allie” Marie Richardson, 74, of Orange, Texas, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2023.
Born in Jennings, Louisiana, on December 1, 1948, she was the daughter of Lester Langley and Verna Mae (Cormier) Kinnison. Allie was a strong woman with a beautiful heart.
She spent her younger years in life living for adventure. Allie loved to travel, especially with her grandchildren, and visited most of the United States.
She was an extremely talented singer, and that talent shone as she opened for Dolly Parton in concerts. Allie was a jack of all trades and a very hard worker, spending many years riding in rodeo, driving 18-wheelers, and working as a real estate agent. In her later years, as she began to struggle with her health, she moved from living for adventure to living for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who were her world.
Allie was a remarkable woman and beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lester Langley and Verna Mae Kinnison; her granddaughter, Courtney Soileau; and her sister, Lilly Mae Langley.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Kennith Richardson; her daughter, Mechelle Hernandez and husband, Tony; her son, William “Bill” Soileau; her grandchildren, Jennifer Hernandez and fiancé, Devon Hollman, Casey Hernandez and girlfriend, Johanna Ortiz, and Aidan Soileau; her great-grandchildren, Jayden, Jace, and Juliana; her brothers, Lester Langley and wife, Shelya, Steven Langley and husband, Alfred Apodaca, and James Langley and wife, Susan; along with numerous other loving family and friends.
Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
