James Lloyd McNeil, 41, Orange

James Lloyd McNeil, 41, of Orange, Texas, passed away on July 8, 2023.

A memorial service for James Lloyd McNeil will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 12, 2023, at American Legion in Orange.

Born in Marrero, Louisiana, on November 26, 1981, he was the son of James Ruffle McNeil and Denise Ann Plaisance. J

ames was employed as a boilermaker and pipefitter for Turner Industries.

During his free time, he enjoyed being by his pool, watching football and baseball, and drinking his Bud Light. To James, Saturday Night Oldies were a must and he loved dancing and singing karaoke with his wife, Latisha. He adored his family and friends, but more than anything, he loved all of the children he could call his own.

James was an amazing man who would have helped anyone. His loved ones will always cherish their memories of him and will miss him dearly.

He is survived by his wife, Latisha McNeil; stepsons, Tye Myers and Michael Myers; father, James R. McNeil; mother, Cynthia McNeil; brothers, Dennis McNeil and wife, Samantha, Derrick McNeil, Anthony McNeil and wife, Juliet, and Henry Gonzales and wife, Breyn; his nephew; two nieces; and numerous other loving family and friends.

Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
