Thomas William Kinder, 64, Birchwood, Tennessee

Thomas William Kinder, 64, of Birchwood, Tennessee, passed away on July 18, 2023, peacefully at home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Entombment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Born in Eastland County, Texas, on October 5, 1958, he was the son of Raymond Kinder and Martha (Blackburn) Stagner. Tom was the proud owner of Kinder and Assoc. for many years. He served on the West Orange City Council from 1992 to 1998, as well as a Constable for Justice of the Peace Precinct 2. Tom enjoyed playing card games with his friends when they were together. He loved his family very much and would often spend as much time with them as he could. Tom was a very giving person and made sure everyone was always taken care of. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather and he was loved very much by everyone who knew him. He is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Kinder; parents, Raymond Kinder and Martha Stagner; brother, George Kinder; and sister, Raylene Whelchel. He is survived by his daughters, Brandy Kinder and, husband Scott Hanson, and Heather Kinder; stepdaughter, April Mendoza and wife, April Lombardo; stepson, Jeffrey Mendoza and wife, Mariah; grandchildren, Kaylee, Kirsten, Gunnar, Gage, Collin, Colby, Raiden, and Joy; nieces, Ramona McDaniel, Sondra Kinder, and Lee Alice Whelchel; as well as other loving family and friends.
