Norma Jean "Jeanie" Norwood, 80, Orange

Norma Jean “Jeanie” Norwood, 80, of Orange, Texas, died Friday, August 4, 2023, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.

Born in Orange, Texas, on September 10, 1942, Jeanie was the daughter of Norman and Audrey Ellen (Ousley) Stephenson.

She was a very loving woman who cared deeply for her family and friends. She will be remembered by all who knew her for her determination and strong willpower to accomplish anything she set her mind to.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Rhonda Kay; and brothers, Lonnie Roy Stephenson and Norman Stephenson, Jr.

Jeanie is survived by her daughters, Barbara Granger, Sabrina Granger and husband David; son, Lawrence Granger; 4 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and brothers, Clarence Raymond Stephenson and Mark Stephenson.

Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home.
