Hometown News For Orange County, Texas
David “Pipaw” McPherson, 59, of Orange, Texas, passed away on August 12, 2023, in Beaumont, Texas.
A celebration of life will be held at 4:00 pm., Saturday, August 26, 2023, at Ronnie and Kathy’s home: 4800 Candlewick Dr. Orange, Texas 77630. Born in Orange, Texas, on August 1, 1964, he was the son of Fenton McPherson and Betty (Fontenot) McPherson. David always did his best to live his life to the fullest.
He had a huge bucket list and worked hard to enjoy his time on this earth. He was very driven, determined to do absolutely anything he set his mind to. David took great pride in his appearance, like a true Leo. He loved listening to music, but Patsy Cline was his favorite. He enjoyed a good bonfire, spending time at the lake, and going on road trips.
When he wasn’t stargazing, David could be found boating, hunting, fishing, or four-wheeling. David lived to have a good time, whether it was cracking everyone up with a good joke or beating you at a game of pool or foosball. He was an excellent carpenter, but an even better cook, which you knew if you had ever had his crawfish.
But at the end of the day, what he loved most was his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a big presence in the lives of his loved ones and will be dearly missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Fenton and Betty McPherson; brother, Kenneth McPherson; and his sister-in-law, Darlene McPherson.
Those left to cherish David’s memory include his loving wife, Michelle McPherson; children, Jacob Ambrose McPherson and Becka Hughes, of Haddonfield, New Jersey, Kristin Nicole McPherson, of Hayes, Louisiana, Amber Rae Seiler, of Houston, Texas, Rachelle Jean Beritiech and husband Jonathon, of Orange, Texas; and Meghann Jo Oleinik, of Orange, Texas; grandchildren, Natalie Maye Abrego, Lexton Wayne Beritiech, Beaux “Bear” Ramsey Beritiech, Maddox Cole Beritiech, Olivia Iris McPherson, Rylynn Wayne Corbello, and Brody Wayne McPherson; and his siblings, Ronald Louis McPherson and wife Kathy and Katherine Dressel and husband Red; along with numerous other loving family and friends. Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
