Molly Anne Tucker Theriot, 84, Orange

Molly Anne Tucker Theriot, 84, of Orange, Texas, passed away on September 1, 2023.

Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, on January 9, 1939, she was the daughter of Charlton Tucker and Charlotte Trahant Tucker. Molly worked in the Orange County Clerk’s Office for 33 years. Her last 13 as County Clerk. In her time, Molly enjoyed traveling and cooking. She loved to play games and taught her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren to play games. Molly was a member of Beta Sigma Phi. She would often get together with friends to play games. Molly was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was “Granny” not only to her family, but to all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charlton and Charlotte Tucker; brother, Charles Tucker, sisters Joyce Landry and Ethel Toups.

She is survived by her loving husband, Edward Raymond Theriot; daughter Melanie Anne Theriot; sons, Tony Edward Theriot and wife Lynne, Chris Michael Theriot and wife Leiland, and John Paul Theriot and wife Denise; grandchildren, Zachary (Zak) Moses, Amber Anne Moses Fee, Dawn McCarver, Bryan Theriot, Michael Theriot, Michelle Arceneaux, Chris Theriot, Jr., Trent Cristiani, Anne Marie Eible, Bobby Theriot, Heidi Romero, Nicole Sneed, Dorothy Barkouskie, Deidra Schultze, Benjamin Walker, Danae Walker, and Shaynona Bittick. As well as great-grandchildren, Henry Fee, Christian Theriot, Nathan McCarver, Jr., Virgina McCarver, Ayden Theriot, Lane Theriot, Jayden Theriot, Ryder Theriot, Remy Theriot, Cassius Theriot, Corbin Wold, Reese Wold, Ashton Theriot, Evan Arceneaux, Amelia Cristiani, and Nova Cristiani; seven great-great-grandchildren.

Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. 

A celebration of life will follow.
