Lee Ottice Berry, 86, Orange

Lee Ottice Berry, 86, of Orange, Texas, passed away on September 15, 2023, peacefully at home.

Graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at New Hope Cemetery in Winnfield, Louisiana.

Officiating will be Pastor Russell Jones. Born in Winnfield, Louisiana, on January 7, 1937, he was the son of Ottice Houston Berry and Dollie Xiemay Berry (Wilson).

Lee proudly served in the United States Army National Guard for two years. After serving he went to work as a welder and was a member of Pipefitter Local 60.

He enjoyed going fishing and being outside. Lee loved his family very much and made sure they knew. He was a wonderful father and grandfather and will be deeply missed by everyone who loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ottice and Dollie Berry; children, John Houston Berry and Carol Lanell Berry, and grandson, Mitchell Lee Naquin.

He is survived by his children, Jennie Lee Naquin, Randy Michael Berry and wife Tamara, Brandon Lee Berry and wife Megan, and Dolly Arceneaux and husband Paul; grandchildren, Christopher Naquin, Joshua Naquin, Jarrod Naquin, John Berry, River Berry, Nathan Berry, Evan Berry, Caeden Arceneaux, Riley Arceneaux, Eric Arceneaux, Zachary Berry, Jackson Berry; great-grandson, Brandon Naquin; as well as other loving family and friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Randy Berry, Brandon Berry, Joshua Naquin, Jarrod Naquin, River Berry, and Nathan Berry.
