Hometown News For Orange County, Texas
The city of West Orange is preparing for the 22nd Annual Holiday in the Park and a few vendor spaces are still available.
The event this year will be Saturday, November 4, at Seal-Alford Plaza next to city hall on Western Avenue. This will be the second year the festival will have a classic car show so people can look at restored vintage cars.
Holiday in the Park features lots of vendors selling food, home decor, arts and crafts, and gifts. A lot of the items can help people get prepared for the upcoming Thanksgiving-Christmas holidays.
Vendor spaces are $40 or $65 for those provided with electricity. The city, as of Tuesday, had only five unreserved booths without electricity and 10 with electricity. There is no charge to bring a classic car to the event.
The city's website has forms to fill out to request a vendor's booth, along with more information about the event. People may also call city hall at 409-883-3468 during business hours to register or to get questions answered.
The festival has become a popular event for people to stroll and visit friends while eating a variety of foods and shopping. Local entertainment is provided throughout the day.
