Renee Ann Montondon-Ihle, 61, Port Arthur

Renee Ann Montondon-Ihle, 61, of Port Arthur, passed away on Friday, September 22, 2023. She was born on September 8, 1962 in Port Arthur, to J.R. “Rusty” Montondon and Antoinette “Netsy” Montondon. Renee graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1980. Renee was known for her love of decorating, antiquing, flowers, gardening, and reading a good thriller. Renee would never be caught without her signature red lipstick and all her accessories. Survivors include her husband of 29 years, Rennie Ihle of Port Arthur; son, Rennie Ihle, Jr. of Groves; daughter, Heather Bergeron and her husband, Gerald, of Port Neches; three grandchildren; father, Rusty Montondon of Port Arthur; sisters, Gaye Montondon of Groves; and Suzie Tweedel and her husband, Jimmy of Spurger; brother, David Montondon and his wife, Tina, of Nederland; as well as multiple nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother. Private services will be held.
