Frances "Ann" Peasley, 88, Orange

Frances “Ann” Peasley, 88, of Orange, Texas, passed away on October 31, 2023, in Beaumont, Texas. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, November 5, 2023, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Jeff Bell. Burial will follow at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery in Orange. Visitation will be prior to the service, beginning at 11:00 a.m., Sunday, November 5, 2023, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Born in Kirbyville, Texas, on February 19, 1935, she was the daughter of Thomas and Dorothy (Sumerall) Garlington. Ann enjoyed being outdoors, working in her yard when she was able, and watching birds. In her free time, she liked building puzzles, going to the casino, and watching her favorite show, Murder She Wrote. Ann loved having her family fill her home, especially with their noise, while she sat back and listened to them all.

She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, and she will be missed deeply by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years, David Peasley; her parents, Thomas and Dorothy Garlington; her son, Oliver Peasley; her daughter, Jaeva Peasley; her great-grandson, Nahjeir Pate; and her sister, Christine Edgerton.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, David D. Peasley and wife Debbie, and Curtis Peasley and wife Iva; her grandchildren, Dené Peasley, Amber Olson, Amanda Peasley, David W. Peasley, Dacia Bush, Audrey Webster, Katelyn Brister, Tyler Peasley, and Bryce Peasley; her great-grandchildren, Aspen, Chase, Zhoria, Xyus, Emerson, Kendall, Kamden, Anzleigh, Jenson, Gunner, Zachary, and Annabeth; and her great-great-grandson, Dwight.

Serving as pallbearers will be Tyler Peasley, Bryce Peasley, Chase Brister, Chase Hollier, Robert Bush, and David W. Peasley.
