Lisa Frances Agerton, 65, was born on August 28, 1958 to Frank and Evelyn Giarratano in Orange, Tx. She gained her beautiful angel wings on October 31, 2023 at her home in Orange, surrounded by loved ones, after fighting a courageous battle against cancer. A gathering will be held at 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Friday, November 10, 2023, at Hillcrest Memorial Chapel in Orange, Texas. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, November 10, 2023, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Orange, Texas. Lisa married her husband, Dean Agerton Sr. on July 16, 1977. Together they had 6 wonderful children. She was a full-time homemaker who loved living life. Some of her hobbies were working/watching her children’s sporting events, being outside, carpentry, painting and gardening. But her favorite hobby was being with family and friends, mostly importantly her kids and grandkids. Lisa is preceded in eternal life by her father, Frank Giarratano, sister-in-law Letty Ann Gomez and nephew Jacob Thibodaux. She is survived by her husband, Dean Agerton Sr., of 46 years, her son Dean Jr. and his wife Julie, son Vito and his wife Lacey, daughter Anne and her husband Billy Dickson, son Luke and his wife Brittney, son Eric and his husband Joey Richard, daughter Alys, and 17 grandchildren, all of Orange, Tx. Her mother Evelyn Giarratano, 3 brothers, 6 sisters, numerous nieces and nephews, many other extended family members and some of the best friends she could have asked for, Robert and Lorrie Gallien. The family wishes to extended their gratitude to everyone at Hospice Care Team, Inc. of Beaumont Texas. A special thank you to Felcia Dobie, RN, Joey Richard, RN, Doris Gardiner, LVN and Cynthia Hebert, C.N.A. for the exceptional care they gave.
