Rose Marie Cox, 77, Kirbyville

Rose Marie Cox, 77, of Kirbyville, Texas, passed away on November 6, 2023, peacefully at home. Born in Orange, Texas, on July 8, 1946, she was the daughter of Dalton Ray Thibodeaux and Maidell (Peveto) Scales. Rose was a wonderful and loving lady. She could make anyone laugh and made friends wherever she went. Rose loved to cook and bake for her family and friends. She enjoyed to decorate and created the most amazing pieces. Rose touched many hearts over the years and will be deeply missed. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dalton Thibodeaux and Maidell Scales; brother, Gordon Thibodeaux; and sister, Rita Giles. She is survived by her sons, Rickey Gordon and spouse Cynthia, and Gary Gordon and spouse Carol; daughter, Yvette Edwards and spouse Dana; stepdaughter, Kay Ray and family; grandchildren, Lacey Jones and spouse Chris, Tiffany Gordon, Sarah LeBleu, Ashely Edwards and spouse Kelsey, Andrew Edwards, Triston Gordon, and Keevin Gordon; numerous great-grandchildren; brother, Joe Thibodeaux and spouse Valerie; best friend, Paulette Johnston; fur baby, Josie; as well as many other loving family and friends. Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
