Bridge City and LCM well represented in All District volleyball

The All-District selections for volleyball in 19-4A as selected by the coaches were released the second week of November. The Bridge City Lady Cardinals and the Little Cypress Mauriceville Lady Bears were well represented in the coaches' choices.

Demi Carter of Bridge City was honored as the district MVP by the coaches. Lady Cardinals Lexi Nugier and Cambree Lacomb were named the Defensive Player of the Year and the Setter of the Year respectfully.

Three Lady Bears got special recognition. Paisley Angelle was selected as the Newcomer of the Year, Lindi Perry was acknowledged as the Middle Blocker of the Year, and Ava White was chosen as the Co-Utility Player of the Year.

Players were named to First Team, Second Team, and Honorable Mention. Bridge City had six ladies and Little Cypress Mauriceville had four team members placed in those categories.
