Duane Allan Dean, 62, Orange

Duane Allan Dean, 62, of Orange, Texas, passed away on November 18, 2023, in Orange.

Born in Clearwater, Florida, on May 16, 1961, he was the son of Charles and Mavis Dean. Duane was a music lover, from country to Cajun music, he enjoyed singing along and playing his guitar. He shared his love of singing with all the children in his family, teaching them how to sing along as well. Duane also taught the children how to ride the lawn mower, which he enjoyed driving around. In his free time, he loved to go fishing, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family. Duane was a great man, and he will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mavis Dean; and his brother, Chuck Dean.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 23 years, Alma Dean; his stepdaughter, Brittini Mazzola and husband Blake, his granddaughter, Maci Mazzola; his sisters, Lila Stark, and Janet Raver; his brother, Walter Quick; his sister-in-law, Linda Flanigan and husband Richard; his nephews and niece, James Galbreath and wife Tiffanie and their children Hunter and Graceleigh, Heather Galbreath and her children Kiryn Bell and Jacob Morales, and Justin Galbreath and wife Kristin; along with numerous other loving friends and family.
