OC Narcotic search warrant execution and arrest

On Monday, December 4, 2023, at approximately 1:20 pm, the Orange County Narcotics Division, with the help of Orange County SWAT, executed a targeted search warrant at the 1100 block of Henry St in Vidor, TX.

During the search, authorities uncovered a substantial amount of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia at the location, resulting in the filing of two felony possession charges. Additionally, individuals with outstanding warrants were apprehended during the operation.

As a result of the search warrant, two individuals were taken into custody for outstanding Class C misdemeanor warrants. Both individuals are also facing possession charges related to the seized methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. The arrested individuals along with their charge are as follows:

Kerri Smith

W/F - DOB: 04/10/1974

Possession of Controlled Substance (methamphetamine) – State Jail Felony

Charitta Harley

W/F - DOB: 02/06/1990

Possession of Controlled Substance (methamphetamine) – State Jail Felony

Both Kerri Smith and Charitta Harley are currently held in custody and will face legal proceedings for the charges brought against them.
