She went on to attend Lamar State College Orange. Becky married the love her life, Jeff Book, in 1999 and they blessed each other with 24 years of marriage. Jeff and Becky adored each other for the over 27 years that they were together; friends and family alike admired their relationship and will continue to for years to come.
Becky joined the workforce for the first few years of their marriage but ultimately decided in 2009 to homeschool their two daughters, Gracie and Jamie. During those years, Becky and her family grew to be very close and created many valuable memories. Becky was an artist at heart and while homeschooling her daughters, she started a photography business that flourished for many years. She had a special talent for all forms of art and photography which led her into a teaching job at the Christian Academy of Fine Arts. She taught yearbook class, photography, and culinary arts.
As her daughters approached graduation, Becky decided to reenter the workforce and worked as a secretary and attendance clerk at Vidor Junior High. Less than year after beginning to work again, Becky was unfortunately diagnosed with glioblastoma. Alongside the support of her family, she fought for 16 months until finally ending her fight to be with her Lord.
