Linda Faye Bray, 77, of Orange, Texas, passed away on February 5, 2024, at Focus Care. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Doug Bray. Burial will follow at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery in West Orange. Visitation will begin prior to the service at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Born in Delcambre, Louisiana, on December 27, 1947, she was the daughter of Lawless Hebert and Dorothy (Delahoussaye) Self. Known for having a big personality, Linda often referred to herself as a "firecracker." Her lively spirit could light up any room she walked into, bringing joy and laughter wherever she went. Linda had a deep love for nature and enjoyed spending much of her time outdoors. Camping and fishing were among her favorite activities. Weekends spent at the sandbar were cherished moments for Linda as she soaked in the sunshine and relaxed by the water. In quieter moments, Linda found solace in puzzles and watching movies. Another one of Linda's creative outlets was latch hooking and painting. Music held a special place in Linda's heart. Whether singing along to her favorite tunes or playing them on repeat, music was a constant source of comfort and joy for her. Her cheerful demeanor, zest for adventure, and love for those around her will be deeply missed by all. She is preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Bray; son, Bobby Bray; sisters, Gayle Dronnett, and Peggy Miller; parents, Lawless Hebert and Dorothy Self; and stepfather, Bill Self. She is survived by her sons, Tony Bray and Clifford Bray and wife, Ranell; daughter-in-law, Kay Bray; grandchildren, Maddy Mulhollan and husband, Dylan, Riley Bray and fiancée, Chaley Cleckley, Bryce Hollier and wife, Camryn; Kaylee Nicole Bray, and Brandon Bray; great grandchild, Atticus Mulhollan; sisters, Gloria Sterns and Suzie Skinner; brothers, Lorson Hebert and Mark Hebert; brother-in-law, Mike Bray and wife, Margaret; nephew, Doug Bray and wife, Lynn; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Riley Bray, Bryce Hollier, Brandon Bray, Dylan Mulhollan, James Dronnett, Tony Bray, and Clifford Bray. The family would like to say a special thank you to Focused Care of Orange and Gentiva Hospice for the wonderful care of Linda.
