Harry Oliver Franklin, 60, of Orange

Harry Oliver Franklin, 60, of Orange, Texas, passed away on March 28, 2024, at his residence in Orange.

The family is holding a memorial service at a later date.

Born in Texas City, Texas, on August 27, 1963, he was the son of Albert Lee Franklin and Carrie Inez Sarver Franklin. Harry's passion for working on model airplanes was well-known among his friends and family. His attention to detail shone through in every project he undertook. In addition to his hobby of working on model airplanes, Harry found solace and fulfillment in tending to his garden and planting trees. Apart from his hobbies, Harry was a dedicated member of McDonald Baptist Church in Orange, Texas. His faith was an integral part of his life, guiding him through both joyous and challenging times with unwavering strength and grace. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Carrie Franklin.

He is survived by his brother, Robert Irving of Orange.

Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
