Wayne “Byrd” Warren, 61, of Orange, Texas, passed away on March 22, 2024, at Baytown Medical Center. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 29, 2024, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Burial will follow at Trout Creek Cemetery in Newton at noon. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 28, 2024, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Born in Kirbyville, Texas, on March 2, 1963, he was the son of Raymond Lee Moore and Barbara Jean Roff Moore. Wayne was known for his passion for fishing and hunting, finding solace and joy in the great outdoors. His grandchildren affectionately called him "Pawpaw," a testament to the special bond he shared with his family. Throughout his life, Wayne dedicated himself to his work as a boilermaker in the plants, showcasing his strong work ethic and commitment to providing for his loved ones. Beyond his professional life, Wayne was cherished for his sense of humor. He had the ability to lighten any room with his jokes and happy nature, bringing smiles to those around him even in difficult times, and even when it wasn’t always appropriate. Which made those close to him love him even more. He will be deeply missed by everyone that knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his parents, Barbara and Raymond Moore; and his brothers, Thomas Randell Warren, and Joe Warren; He is survived by his son, Thomas Warren and wife, Ginger McAllister of Orange; his daughter, Rachel Hannan and husband, William of Orange; his grandchildren, Jaxon Warren, Liam Warren, and Harrison Hannan; his siblings, Selina Livingston, Vernon Warren, Raymond Lee Moore, Jr., Rayma Lee Martinez, Willie Moore, and Patty Moore; and numerous other loving nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Garrett Wilcox, D.L. Peveto, Vernon Warren, Rickey Riley, Joey Landry, and Ethan Hernandez.
