District 19-4A All District for Baseball

With the elimination of the Bridge City Cardinals and the Silsbee Tigers from the UIL state baseball playoffs the all district selections were released by the coaches from District 19-4A. Bridge City and Little Cypress Mauriceville had players receiving special recognition and being named to the First Team All-District.

LCM junior Marco Bandiero was named the Offensive MVP and freshman Jacob Scheiderer was selected the Newcomer of the Year. Senior John Van Huis of Bridge City was picked by the coaches as the Defensive MVP. Bridge City head baseball coach Chad Landry was named Coach of the Year.

Making the First Team All-District from Bridge City were pitchers senior Landon Reeves and sophomore Max Pachar, catcher sophomore CJ Riojas, and outfielders senior Gavin Bodin and junior Hutch Bearden. Little Cypress Mauriceville placed pitcher junior Landon Richards and sophomore third baseman Clay Raney on the all-district First Team.

Four additional Bridge City Cardinals made the Second Team pitcher senior Brayton Tregre, first baseman freshman Slade Landry, second baseman Hunter Ford, and at third base sophomore Austin Frederick. LCM Bears on the Second Team were shortstop junior Parker Seago and outfielder sophomore Parker Freeman.

Honorable Mention went to sophomore Owen Tucker and senior Aidyn Mulhollan of Bridge City. Little Cypress Mauriceville received three Honorable Mentions to sophomore Justin McCarver, junior Ethan Fry, and freshman Jackson Strewe. Two West Orange-Stark Mustangs Christian Anderson and Grayson Gregory received Honorable Mentions.
