The all district selections for District 19-4A in softball were released following the elimination of the district's final teams in the UIL playoffs. The Bridge City Cardinals and the Little Cypress Mauriceville Lady Bears were well represented on the list of honorees.
No surprise Bridge City senior pitcher Carson Fall was selected the MVP of the district. Fall won every game she started during the twelve game district schedule throwing six no hitters.
First year head softball coach Kylie Bradley of Bridge City was selected as Coach of the Year. Bradley led the Cardinals to an undefeated district championship and the third round of the post season.
Named to the First Team All-District from Bridge City were infielder senior Lexi Nugier and senior Anna Autrey as an outfielder. Four Lady Bears catcher junior Lexis Moss, infielder sophomore Eden Frenzel, infielder junior Keylie Washburn, and outfielder senior Ava Wright were honored on the First Team.
The Second Team had four Bridge City Cardinals catcher senior Haley Munoz, infielder junior Brooklyn Droddy, infielder sophomore Cambree LaComb, and junior Kyleigh Hamilton in the outfield. A pair of Lady Bears were named to the Second Team junior Ella Stephenson in the infield and junior Ava White in the outfield.
Receiving Honorable Mention were junior Nicole Sasser and sophomore Makenna Knight from Bridge City. Senior Jacelyn Cook of Little Cypress Mauriceville got Honorable Mention. West Orange-Stark's junior Latessa Turner, junior Carlysia Simien, and freshman Alexia Guyton were all recognized with Honorable Mentions.
