Orange County Aggie Moms Scholarship winners

Orange County Aggie Moms recently awarded a total of $2,000 in scholarships for Orange County high school Class of 2024. This year’s recipients are Blaine Lenard and Carys Wolfe, each receiving $1,000. Blaine Lenard is graduating Magna Cum Laude from Orangefield High School. He is the son of Justin & Emily Forse and Dustin & Jessica Lenard. During his time at OHS, Blaine was on the A- Honor Roll, National Honor Society, Bobcat Pride Marching Band, an officer in Future Farmers of America (FFA), Powerlifting, and a track pole vaulter. He has earned numerous honors and achievements throughout his high school career. He has been a part of All-Region and Area bands, gone to State 3 years in a row for FFA Land Judging, and the past 2 years for band Solo & Ensemble. Blaine will be attending Texas A&M University majoring in Construction Science. Blaine will also be a member of the Fightin' Texas Aggie Marching Band and Corps of Cadets. Carys Wolfe is graduating Magna Cum Laude from Bridge City High School. Carys is the daughter of Raven and Keith Wolfe. Carys was a part of National Honors Society, Varsity Cheerleading, U.I.L. Cheerleading, Cheer Hawaii U.S.A., the Executive Student Council, Tishy’s Modeling Team, AP Art Program, Dance Masters of America Junior Membership, Dual Enrollment Courses, Encore Dance Arts Company Member, and will graduate in the top 10% of her class. Carys has been a competitive dancer for 10 consecutive years and has been presented many awards throughout her dance career. Carys will be attending Texas A&M University in the fall of 2024, where she will major in biochemistry to pursue the occupation of dentistry. Eventually, Carys plans to travel the world, aid others, and help individuals smile! We are honored and so very proud to have presented these scholarships to these two students.
