The West Orange-Stark High School Class of 2024 has proudly announced its top graduates, with Anastashia Perkins named Valedictorian and Lendrit Makolli named Salutatorian.
Anastashia Perkins, the daughter of Patrick Perkins, is an Early College High School graduate through the school's partnership with Lamar State College-Orange. She has been an active member of the M3 Band, serving as a section leader for the past three years, and is also a member of the National Honor Society. Anastashia plans to attend the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, where she will major in Nursing.
Lendrit Makolli, the son of Bashkim and Kadriju Makolli, is also an Early College High School graduate through the partnership with Lamar State College-Orange. He has earned his Structural Steel Welding and Pipe Welding certifications through the American Welding Society. In addition to his academic achievements, Lendrit is a dedicated member of the National Honor Society and works at his family’s restaurant, Milano’s Italian Grill, in Bridge City. He intends to continue his education at Lamar State College-Orange to become an Electromechanical Technician.
