Bridge City JV Cardinal Cheerleaders attend camp

Bridge City Cardinal Cheerleaders recently attended their yearly UCA Cheer Camp hosted at Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine, TX. Leading up to camp both squads attended practices learning pyramids, technique, and preparing all elements they needed to bring to camp with them. This was the first time that BC Cheer has attended Cheer Camp at this location. Attending along with BCHS Cheer there were 12 other schools in attendance.  

Both squads can home receiving multiple awards, as well as gameday material that they can't wait to use during the season.

Varsity Cheer is bringing home from Camp 1st in Sideline Cheer, 1st in Gameday Cheer, 2nd in Camp Routine, and Grand Champions of UCA GAMEDAY. Also a UCA Staff invite, 3 Pin it Forward Recipients, 8 All American Cheerleaders, and 2 Blue Superior Ribbons

JV Cheer is bringing home from Camp  1st in Gameday Cheer, 1st in Sideline Cheer, 2nd in camp Routine, 1 Pin it Forward Recipient, 6 All American Cheerleaders and 1 Blue Superior and 1 Gold Ribbon.

Both squads received the camp Leadership Award which is a high honor at UCA Camp that is voted on by all schools who attended camp.

Varsity Cheer Sponsor Mrs. Jessica Jones, a Bridge City Alumni and former BCHS Cheerleader praises both squads on all of their hard work and dedication leading up to this camp and is excited for this season.
