Clarence Moore, 90, of Orange, Texas, passed away on June 13, 2024, at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. Born on February 27, 1934, he was the son of Demos Moore and Louella Moore (Johnson). Clarence was a very good person and a great friend to have, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and compassion. He proudly served in the United States Army for many years. Clarence was a talented barber known for his skillful hands and gentle demeanor. Throughout his life, Clarence's proudest accomplishment was being a dedicated member of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Orange. Clarence's memory will be cherished by all who knew him. He will be remembered for his dedication to his craft as a barber, his unwavering faith, and most importantly, for the warmth and friendship he extended to those around him. He is preceded in death by his parents, Demos and Louelle Moore; his beloved wife, Evelyn Moore; and their daughter, Cheryl Ann Moore. He is survived by his nieces and nephews: Margie Smith, Mark Anthony Moore (Vanita), James Moore, LaNae Moore, and Saleem Rashadeen (Arenda); along with his cousins Lottie Moore and Barbara Tardy. His brother, Alfred Moore, also mourns his passing. In addition to his immediate family, Clarence leaves behind numerous other loving family members and friends who will miss him dearly. Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
