Steven Lee Stafford, 47, Orange

Steven Lee Stafford, 47, of Orange, Texas, passed away on June 26, 2024, at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. Born in Tylertown, Mississippi, on July 30, 1976, he was the son of Cathie Duhon and stepfather Wilbert Duhon. Steven was widely known as a dedicated Truck Driver for Clark Transportation, a job he held close to his heart. His passion for the open road was evident to all who knew him. Beyond his professional life, Steven found immense joy in hunting and fishing. He had a passion for shooting guns at the gun range and cherished the time he spent truck driving and being with his family. Among the many treasures of Steven's life were the precious moments shared with his grandchildren. They affectionately addressed him as "Paw Paw," a title that brought warmth to his heart and a smile to his face. Steven was a nonactive member of the V.F.W auxiliary 2775. Steven kindness, dedication, and love for his family will forever be remembered. He is preceded in death by his aunt, Barbara Martin; grandparents, Belle Lafrance and Douglas Lafrance; and cousin, Madison Nicholson. He is survived by his loving fiancé, Stephanie Lynn Beasley; mother, Cathie Duhon and her husband Wilbert; daughter, Kristal N. Blye and her husband, John; grandparents, John W. Stafford and Joyce M. Stafford grandchildren, Konner Lee Varnado, Korbin Ray Varnado, and Angelina Marie Blye; aunts, Judy Crain and Teresa Richardson and her husband, Stanley; uncle, John E. Stafford; as well as numerus other loving family and friends. Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
