Golden Triangle Polymers donates $250,000 to Bridge City for park improvement project

Bridge City Mayor David Rutledge, center wearing bow tie, accepted a ceremonial check for $250,000 from the new petrochemical plant Golden Triangle Polymers. Plant manager Chad Jennings, to the right of the mayor, attended the council meeting to give the check. The city plans to build public pickleball courts with the money. The city had a leaders forum earlier this year with 40 citizens and pickleball courts topped the list of requests.
