Bearden places 1st at World Powerlifting Championships

Bridge City High senior Hallie Bearden last week won first place in her division at the World Powerlifting Championships held in Chicago. She competed in the 123 pounds class and squatted 350. She also benched 190 and deadlifted 315. She won the state UIL championship for her class in 2022. Last month, she was crowned Bridge City's homecoming queen.
