OC Retired Teachers to meet

The Orange County Retired Teachers will meet at 10:30 a.m., Monday, Jan.13, at Wesley United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall located at 401 N 37th Street, Orange.

Their guest speaker will be Gina Rogers, the director of The Women's Care Center in Vidor. It is a Christian- based recovery center for women.  They are collecting canned goods for the center. If you did not bring canned goods to the last meeting, they ask that you bring them on Jan. 13.

Volunteer hours need to be turned in to Ginger Williams.

They will have the latest update from Tim Lee on the timeline for implementing the Social Security Fairness Act signed by President Biden on Jan. 5. 

All Orange County retired teachers and school personnel are invited. They ask that you attend to help keep their local and state organizations strong. Refreshments will be served.
